2011

A few pictures from 2011. This past year has been a pretty good year for me. I started this blog in May. I didn't really know what I wanted from it, or even what kind of blog I wanted it to be. So I just took it one post at a time (literally). Well, needless to say, since then, I've been obsessed with it. Every time something new happens, I feel the need to share it here. So to thanks for coming back to check in, and for commenting. I wish you all a Happy New Year filled with love happiness and all the glitz and glam you deserve.

new year's glam

H&M bag and bangles / Heels from Queen St. West shop

I was going through different new year's looks when I put this one together. Originally, I didn't think I would wear this, but now I just don't know! I love the glamour of the fur, the sequins and the sparkle of this outfit, and really, it's only fitting for New Year's Eve. Decisions, decisions. The only thing I know for certain is that the clutch is coming with me! Have you guys figured out your plans, and more importantly, the outfit yet?

walk with me, my lovelies

Quick post about my latest shoe finds (both on major sale! Yay Boxing Day!). I got the first pair from Zara. I'm currently obsessed with the nude rose feel. A girl can never go wrong with a patten leather either. I really don't want to wear them with tights throughout the winter, so I'm dying to go bare legged with this pair (hello spring). And the leopard print pumps - how fun are they? Dying for that chunky heel. I got them from a little shop called Sterling. On these two items alone, I'd say it was a success. But of course I did way more shopping that just that.

PS: My boyfriend got me a new camera for Christmas! I'm having too much fun with it!

some post christmas shopping

Old Navy pea coat and sweater / H&M T-shirt and bag / Zara leggings / Spring boots and infinity scarf

Hi everyone! I hope your Christmas was amazing (and I hope you got presents you love). I had a wonderful Christmas. So many awesome gifts (emphasis on awesome gifts). This outfit is what I wore when I went out on Boxing Day (Canadian and UK equivalent to US Black Friday which falls the day after Christmas, December 26) to do some shopping. As insanely packed as the shops were, I think I did pretty well. I'll also share all those goodies with you later.

Dear Santa

Perfect time to be calling out to Santa, right? I saw this Kenneth Jay Lane bracelet online this morning and I'm obsessed with it. Of course, I could never justify buying trendy jewelry for $140.00, but I can sure as heck be on the hunt a look-a-like. Oh, so pretty... Santa, are you out there? Can you hear me?

simple attire

Dollhouse leather jacket / H&M T-shirt, jeans and bag / Gifted scarf / Booties from a shop in London

Jeans and a jacket and out the door. I had the day off today so I took advantage and got started on Christmas shopping. Christmas is less than 10 days away and I'm just getting started (please excuse me while I go freak out). Speaking of Christmas, there's still no snow on the ground here in Toronto (kind of unusual). The weather feels like more October/November weather. Though it'd be sad if there was no snow on Christmas, I'm kind of enjoying it for wardrobe's sake!

wishlist - clutch love

Currently obsessed with clutches right now. Here's a few of my faves. I love the colours and textures... just not some of the prices! But it's Christmas time - what better time for a wishlist.

2. Michael Kors Quin Clutch - $495.00
3.ASOS Envelop Laptop Case in faux Croc - $37.00
4. ASOS Feather Clutch Bag - $46.00
5. ASOS Suede Large Envelop Clutch Bag - $65.00
6. Rebecca Minkoff Buckle Clutch - $295.00

a little safari

H&M sweater and shorts / Forever 21 blouse, earrings and ring / Le Chateau shoes / Old Navy clutch

I was very happy to see this blouse (along with a few more pieces) come in the mail recently. I went a little
crazy at the Forever 21 online sale a few weeks back for Black Friday. This blouse has a bit of a safari
themed print going on, so I pulled out my safari clutch. Luckily it doesn't look like competing patterns.
Cant wait to show you more of my new goodies!

in the middle of the city... in the middle of nowhere.

Dollhouse leather jacket / Gifted scarf / Primark maxi skirt / Boots from shop in London / H&M bag / Forever 21 jewelry

Happy Monday! I hope you all had  a great weekend. Mine consisted of being sick and managing to run a
few errands. I can't say enough how much I love the fall colours outside right now. I had to pull out my
pumpkin coloured maxi. I love a good maxi, and I can't let it go just because it's colder outside. As long as
there's no snow on the ground, I'll just have to bundle up underneath.

angelina

I'm usually not a huge fan of Angelina Jolie, but wow! She looks absolutely amazing. Her look has such simplicity, yet it's so glam. I'm loving both covers, I can't really decide which I love more.

colour with a side of neutral

Forever 21 Sweater / Costa Blanca belt and dress worn as a skirt / H&M clutch and bangles / Dollhouse shoes

I must be in the same mood I was yesterday with the green pants - now it's a purple skirt. I didn't notice until I looked at the pictures that everything (even the lips) is colourful except for the sweater. These days it's pitch black outside at like 4:00 p.m. (okay, I'm exaggerating - not by much though) and it just makes me want to brighten things up a bit.  Can you blame me?
