in the details

Smart Set top / H&M jeans / Aldo bag and earrings / Primark shoes and belt

I love when the simplest outfits have the most unique little details. The reason I fell in love with this peplum-ish shirt was because of the lace in the back - just that extra little thing. Though I'm really not a matchy-matchy person, I couldn't help myself with the shoes, the belt and the earrings. You just have to do it once in a while!

I hope you have a great weekend!

H&M blazer, shirt, skirt, belt and tights / Mom's old travelling bag / Sirens booties

Very simple, no fuss outfit. When I was writing out where each piece was from, I realised that it was all H&M.
Walking advertisement much?

neon territory

Dollhouse leather jacket / H&M T-shirt, skirt and tights / ASOS clutch / Joe Fresh Boots

It's fun to throw on some bright colours smack dab in the middle of winter - obviously missing the summer weather. Can you blame a girl? I know you're not supposed to wear black and yellow because of the bee stigma, but with the stripes and the pink, I think it works. I'm still so obsessed with this ASOS clutch. I'm definitely going to get a  lot of wear out of it.

PS: This outfit makes me crave Skittles or Starbursts or something! Is it just me?

chambray and fur

Forever 21 Chambray shirt / Faux fur vest from Sears / H&M skirt / Aldo bag / Pumps for Queen St. West shop

I'm loving this faux fur vest more and more by the day. I often want to wear it, but it's hard to make it blend easily and look like it belongs. So finding new ways to wear it is always a challenge. Here I paired it with a casual chambray shirt and a blue skirt. Shades of browns (stepping into the beige category too) and blues happen to be one of my favourite colour combinations -they just always seem to always compliment each other.

winter, meet summer.

Forever 21 blazer / H&M dress and tights / Costa Blanca bag / Sirens booties

The white dress I'm wearing here is a summer dress from H&M (they have different versions of it all the time). This blazer has been very popular with me this past week, but it's not my fault. It's so easy to layer with blazers - especially when it's cold. And I just love the colour of this one. A coloured blazer is my weakness!

chunky knits and soft patterns

Old Navy pea coat / H&M sweater, skirt and clutch / Le Chateau ring

Full outfit from yesterday's H&M skirt post. The fabric is very light and airy, which makes it way more of a late summer/fall piece. So for now, it'll have to do with tights and chunky sweaters. I'm in love with the warm colour palette and the soft abstract print against the rest of the winterised outfit. On another note, I'm finding that it's really hard to take outfit photos outside! Sometimes I can't take off my coat because I'd freeze to death. This weather's been so moody - fall highs to winter lows in a flash.

bubble skirt

Quick glimpse at tomorrow's outfit post. New bubble skirt from H&M. H&M sales = dirt cheap. $20.00.

a little pink and a little point

Dad's button down white shirt / Mendocino jeans / Town Shoes pumps (never heard of the brand before) / ASOS clutch

ASOS delivery! Got this little pink number which I actually included in this post a few weeks back. I'm pretty sure I'll be coordinating outfits just to wear the clutch. Going with the faux crocodile theme, I pulled these croc/snake skin textured pumps from the back of my closet. Remember when pointed toe shoes were all the craze? Kinda getting into it again!

blushing peach

Forever 21 blazer / Mendocino shirt / Old Navy pants / Le Chateau scarf / Boots from Queen Street West

This is one of those outfits where I had no clue what to wear, so I literally just picked out a few simple pieces. Instead of opting for jeans and a black or grey blazer, I went for different tones - peach toned blazer, soft pink scarf and olive/brown pants. Simple outfit with some interest.
