Well not totally black, but mostly black! Happy Hump Day - can't wait for this week to be over!

Happy Monday! I love monochromatic looks with the right amount of dimension. Everything is blue in this outfit, but blue isn't the first thing you see. I find that I often pair this clutch and these heels together. I like that they're in the same colour family, but they don't exactly 'match' but rather they just 'go'. I also love a good pair of ripped jeans... which will be tough to wear since it just started snowing and it's freezing cold outside...

My obsession with ankle strap heels is nowhere near over... And I live for pops of colour.

Bad blogger, bad blogger! Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been totally swamped with wedding stuff. At first, we were pretty casual with the wedding planning. A week after getting back from our vacation we went to a wedding where our table was full of newlyweds. Enter wedding stress! 'Do you have a venue yet?' 'What? They book over a year in advance!' 'Have you started dress shopping? It can take up to 6 months for your dress to come in and then alterations can take 2 months!' 'Do you have a wedding planner? Are you getting one?' and so on and so forth. Obviously, these were all valid points. So for the last few weeks, Ben and I have been crossing things off the list. So far we've got a date (August 31st, Labour Day Weekend!), our venue, my dress, our first dance song and I got our 'theme' narrowed down to 'Downtown Romantic'. That's not so bad, right? Still a ton to do in 10 months, but we're getting there.

Back to the outfit - November in Toronto means snow is just around the corner. It's definitely getting a bit chili out there. So it doesn't get much cozier than chunky knit sweater and loose fitting jeans. My weekends have been full of this particular uniform. I love a good pop of neon, so these shoes are currently heavily (read: heavily) on rotation right now. And they totally polish off an otherwise super casual look.
