Hi lovelies. If you follow me on Instagram, you will have most likely seen these photos already. I just wanted to share them here to show you my current makeup addiction lately. I've never been much of a lipgloss person, mostly because my lips are already pretty plump. I never wanted them to look big and shiny. My favourite lipsticks were always the ones with matte finishes (mostly MAC, but honestly, they're super, super drying). NYX Cosmetics also has great matte lip creams, but they're not exactly long lasting. I decided to give Colourpop after doing some research. I love the colours. I have about six lippies and I love the ones I have so far. My biggest piece of advice; exfoliate your lips before applying. If you're having a dry lips day, just don't wear it. It's not a cute look when the colour is caught up in dry skin. Otherwise, love these! Have you tried them? Or any other matte lip colours?

black and camel

20.1.16

Forever 21 coat and dress / Aldo boots and bag

Black and camel is fast becoming one of my favourite colour combinations. There's something so lux about the pairing of these two colours. Everything here is simple and that's what I love about this look. I used to be drawn to bold prints and bright colours a lot more, but lately, simplicity has been doing it for me. Don't get me wrong though, there's always room for statement pieces!

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is going well so far! Here's a little winter outfit I put together in collaboration with Spring. Okay so I know you're probably thinking 'where are her pants?' but I promise it wasn't that cold the day I shot these photos. Getting cozied up in chunky knit sweaters and blanket scarves is definitely the best part of winter. That, and watching a snowfall from the your comfy couch while enveloped in throw blankets.

The first thing that's a must on a cold winter day is a sweater. I absolutely love chunky, oversized sweaters. They're great for layering, and they're so comfortable you can really let it all hang out (maybe that's just me). And no matter what, sweaters are always on trend. I've been into turtlenecks a lot recently, so naturally, I opted for a turtleneck sweater dress. On a cold day, I'd skip the bare legs and go for thick leggings or jeans. So for those days of extreme cold (and snow), it is 100% certain that I'll be reaching for my parka. There are so many nice ones out there today, I just can't justify buying five parkas just because they're cute. You really don't have to sacrifice style for warmth here. Check out all the quality parkas from Spring here. Boots are obviously weather dependent. No way I'm risking slipping on ice with heels. But if it's completely dry out there, that's a different story. Last but not least are the accessories - hats, gloves and scarves. I love a good beanie. I totally believed my mom when she told me that I'll catch a cold if my head is cold. I'm still wearing my toques. You can never go wrong with any winter accessory, so pile it on!

Forever 21 jacket, H&M shirt and jeans / Primark scarf / Nike shoes

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great NYE night. This year, our plans were a little different. We attended our friends' amazing wedding. So all we had to do was glam up, show up, and have a fantastic time! On another note, it's starting to get so cold here. Oversized sweaters ans scarves are my two of my favourite things during the winter. This blanket scarf is definitely on heavy rotation right now. Here's an outfit I wore a lot over the holidays for running errands and Christmas shopping.
