floral and foliage bodysuit

Hi friends! It's been months since I posted here so I figured there's no better time than the present to actually get shit done. So here I am! How has your summer been going!? Mine has been really great so far. The weather has been amazing - very hot, but amazing nonetheless. Julien is almost 19 months now and we basically spend all of our time outside on walks, at parks and splash pads! I really do mean always outside. I mean, did my foot tan give it away!? How ridiculous is that. But seriously, note to self, don't wear the same sandals day in and day out while you're in the baking sun; it could make for a pretty aggressive foot tan. So be careful out there! And don't worry, Julien is well cared for in the sun protection department!

On another note, I turned 30 a couple of weeks ago. I always saw myself having a big bash for my 30th birthday, but when time came, I just wanted to keep it super low-key. We went to a movie and had dinner. Just typing that out was embarrassing! So boring, I know, but I'm my happiest being boring these days. Maybe one day that 'let's go out and get shit faced' girl will rear her ugly little head - I highly, highly doubt it, but never say never, right? It's so cliché, but having a toddler may have turned me into a homebody. I now get excited for daytime adventures so that we can curl up on the couch with takeout and watch a show for a couple of hours after Julien has gone down. That is literally my perfect evening! I don't think you need to be a mom to relate to that. I know I'm not alone in this right?

Floral prints are so pretty to me right now. I couldn't help getting this little tube top bodysuit just for the print. I don't usually do tube tops because I have DD's and like to wear straps, but this was the exception. The worry of a tube top falling down will always be there, but this particular top earned some points for being a bodysuit. This one fits pretty well which made me comfortable. Never wear things that you're not comfortable in. There's nothing worse than tugging and pulling on your clothes constantly because things don't fit or feel awkward. Even if it's a nice outfit. A confident, comfortable look is always a win!
