in the details - stella & dot

I love finding new brands  and I love sharing them. I've just recently discovered Stella & Dot when a friend became a stylist for them.  If you haven't seen it for yourself, definitely check it out here. The selection has everything from elegant simplicity to bold statement peices. It's amaizing quality (either silver or gold plated) and down right gorgeous stuff! Here are a few snapshots of my recent Stella & Dot looks.

In order of the pictures: Together Forever Necklace, Bardot Spiral Bangle, Chantilly Lace Chandelier Earrings, Soiree Trio Ring

total fox

Urban Outfitters sweater / Forever 21 skirt / Aldo shoes / H&M bag and bangles / Oasap pendent bracelet

Firstly, how cute is that fox! I couldn't say no to his little face. I was unsure about the high low dresses and skirts I've been seeing everywhere as of late. Don't judge me, but I thought it might just feel weird and out of balance on the legs. Boy, was I wrong. I'm now obsessed, and I really want it in two more colours; mint and black. I love the flowy movement of the skirt behind you when you walk (or even just when the wind blows). It feels so light and breezy - definite spring/summer staple. Side note - Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a good start.

well suited

H&M shorts and blazer / Reiss top / Zara pumps / ASOS clutch / TopShop and Aldo bangles

Hello Spring. This is just a little number I've been saving for you. I got this "suit" during the winter and I've been dying to wear it together as one look for months now! Favourite colour (cobalt blue) and favourite colour combo (with the pink). Love the simplicity of a suit, especially with the loud colour. I'm so excited for the new season!

version of the uniform

H&M blazer, bag and beanie / Mendocino shirt / Zara tights / Boots form a shop in London / Aldo bangles

Can't really go wrong with a blazer, a top and some leggings. It's definitely a last minute go-to outfit for me. Colours and shoes may vary, but it's still the same outfit. I'm always super comfortable in this. What are your go-to looks?

as casual as casual gets

Forever 21 shirt and jeans / H&M bag / Urban Behaviour shoes / Aldo aviators

A very very casual outfit for me. My weekend was very relaxing. I caught up on TV shows, went for long walks with my animal son, and tried out new food spots. Hopefully a well-rested weekend can fuel me up for the work week ahead.

Happy Monday!

minty fresh, coral crusin'

I went on the TopShop website just to browse, and fell in love with so many things! Here's what I'm currently obsessing over. Happy Shopping and Happy Friday!

moccasins with tassels

Costa Blanca sweater (Luxe Collection) / H&M pants and bag / Zara shoes / Aldo bangles / Stella & Dot Chantilly Lace Earrings

I've waited something like 4-5 months for these shoes. I first saw them on the Zara website when they were originally $129. But you know what's better than $129? Just $40! To my surprise (and utter happiness), when I strolled into Zara this weekend there they were, 1 pair left, in the perfect size. So with the shoes, I decided to go pretty simple, navy pants and a mint coloured cashmere sweater - simple basics that wouldn't compete.

citrus and tangerine

Forever 21 blazer / Sears vest / Old T-Shirt / Gap skirt / H&M Clutch / Steve Madden Shoes / Stella & Dot Bardot Bangle

Keeping it short and sweet. Happy Monday! This springy weather has definitely got me in a giddy mood!

prom shoes

Forever 21 chambray shirt / H&M tube dress worn as a pencil skirt and clutch / Can't remember where the shoes are from

Happy Friday! I was doing a semi-closet clean up (more like looking for things I had forgotten about) and these shoes were one of them. I can't believe they were my prom shoes! In 2005, these shoes were to die for! And even today, I kind of like the retro/obviously not from 2012 feel of them. Wonder how I'll fee about them in another seven years.

it's a grey and silver day

H&M jacket / Dress from Camden Market in London / ASOS clutch / Charlotte Russe shoes / Stella & Dot Soiree Trio Ring

I don't prefer silver over gold, but some nice jewelry and sparkly shoes can change it all. Though the colours are very monochromatic (aside from the pop of pink), the outfit still stands out. Love it when it pulls together so easily. Every time I wear this dress, I still can't get over the fact that I got it at a flea market. It's one of those items that when you see it you're not crazy about it but it's so cheap you can't leave it behind (I often run into this, and now it's turn into closet space issues). So you think to yourself that if you style it well, it could be cute. This is definitely my but-it-could-be-cute dress.

keep calm, and sparkle on

I went to Niagra Falls a couple weekends ago, and we decided to cross the border to the U.S. side for a little shopping. I got a few nice things, but my favourite has to be these Charlotte Russe Glittery T-Strap Platform Heel. They're so much fun, and so incredibly comfortable (it's actually insane just how comfy). Makes me crave summer a million times more!
