Have you ever bought something from a store and had horrible customer service, but still you love that item so you struggle when you get a compliment on it? That's what I'm struggling with right now. Let me give you the back story. One evening, as I'm casually strolling Instagram, an ad for  Venidress.com pops up and I'm like 'ooouuhh, pretty, and super affordable'. So right then and there, I order four dresses. A few days go by and I didn't get an update on whether it's been shipped or not, but still, I think nothing of it. A week goes by, so I send an email and get no response. Now I'm getting a little annoyed. I direct message them on Instagram and immediately get a shipping notification. It's at this point that I actually start looking at their Instagram feed. All the pictures say there are like 20 comments, but when you click on the comment icon, there are no comments to be found! Which means they were deleted! I put their name into Google and started reading all the bad reviews. I was horrified. Some people never even got their orders!

Then, there was a glimmer of hope! I got my box and there were four items. One by one I take them out of the packaging. The first two were great! Looked exactly like the pictures and bonus, they fit well. The third item was not exactly the colour I ordered (different shades of yellow), but the style was still very nice. And then with the fourth piece, disappointment and a little bit of panic set in. I had ordered a white button front dress and received a white cut-out petal top - just not my style. I left comments and basically harassed the brand until they BLOCKED me on Instagram! Isn't that wild!? I was shocked. I started getting messages from other ladies who had been screwed by Veniidress. Most of them said the company suggested selling whatever you didn't like yourself to get your money back and then offered a 10-15% discount. So to be clear, no refunds, get rid of it yourseld and a discount for future orders. Who the hell would buy from then twice, I have no idea.

But you know what they say, persistence is key right? In the end, they ended up giving me a $20 refund (I still lost money because I'm pretty sure the dress was $29). So you get my dilemma right? I hate this company, but I do like three of the four pieces. I've made the decision that I'll link to similar styles when I wear it on on the blog or on Instagram. But please ladies, never shop at Venidress.com! Some tips that go without saying: If you've never heard of the company before, do some thorough investigating. Google, creep their account, look everywhere! My main lesson I got from this is when it comes to trendy, inexpensive things, I'll just stick to Forever 21 and H&M or the sales section of other stores I love. This headache was not worth saving a few bucks!
