Forever 21 blazer and tee / Jacob jeans (old) / H&M bag / Aldo shoes

Happy April! Keeping it on the lighter side with this spring outfit. So far, powder blue is the only pastel on my mind, but I'm really excited to start playing with lighter shades from head to toe. Coming from a pretty brutal winter (damn you, polar vortex), I'm absolutely thrilled to start shedding some serious layers... Or at least swap them for thinner ones. I am more than ready for this change.

River island blouse / H&M skirt and bag / Aldo pumps

This powder blue bag is everything to me right now. I wondered about just how much wear I could get out of it because it is so blue and so oversized, but so far so good! I'm also just so enamoured with it that I'm willing to stick to a particular palette to make it work. It was also such a steal ($40!) that I may go back and get the beige one too. Thank you H&M for being so affordable.

Old Navy pea coat / Target tee / H&M pants / Aldo shoes / Bag from a local boutique

Ever since I found these jeans just over a week ago, I've sort of been living in them. I mean that quite literally... to the point where I'm considering getting a second pair because it's beyond both ridiculous and embarrassing (they're also in the previous post). In the past, I  found it hard to dress up light wash jeans. The fit and the wash have to simultaneously be golden and lucky for me, I find these to be a perfect skinny and the just the right pale blue wash. And of course, a fresh lip colour and a some fun heels will always pull it together. These pumps are the latest addition to my shoe collection and they too have been on a steady rotation. I think it's safe to say that my obsession with neon yellow will live on for always...
